Into the Studio - Week Ending 13th November

This week is a busy one. I've been preparing for Christmas craft fairs so instead of just making beads I have been turning those beads into some new jewellery lines.
Beads
You will have probably noticed a new category in my studio recently, Artisan Lampwork Spacer Beads. Where you can buy individual spacer beads, this allows you to buy one to add to a focal or as many as you need to complete a project.
I've got the plain chunky rounds spacers in store so far but over the next few weeks I will be adding bicones and ribbed donuts as well as adding etched versions of those beads for those that prefer the matte finish.
Jewellery
For those of you that follow my facebook happenings you will have seen some jewellery popping up in my photo albums. Most of this stock is for craft fairs, so won't be appearing here until after Christmas. The key line at the moment is my Scarleteen range of "brangles." They aren't quite bangles, but they aren't quite bracelets either.
I've been making some other jewellery too, mostly earrings. The have given me a chance to test out some different styles on certain bead shapes, there will be many more earring pairs coming into my store soon so watch this space.
Christmas is coming
There isn't long now and in the studio the glass has been thinking about Christmas too. This year I have started making some decorations. These glass candy canes can adorn your tree without coming down one morning to discover someone has eaten them all. There is a range of traditional Christmas colours as well as some in more modern colours. I'm taking orders on these already locally and they won't be long before they appear here too.
A final note
I will be mentioning these a lot now, my last order days to make sure all orders are posted before the Christmas cut off dates.

Off back to work for me, just need to evict the cat from my knee and finish these bracelets so I can get the photos taken.
