The affordable luxury of a long, fragrant soak in the tub enhanced with soothing music, soft lighting and relaxation at the end of a long day provides the muse for my all natural tub salts.
My traditional bath soaks are offered unrefined, unscented or augmented with naturally distilled pure essential oils to provide a rejuvenating indulgence for your aching body. The inclusion of dried rose petals, lavender buds and herbs from my own garden are the final touch of rustic elegance.
Pink Himalayan Sea Salt
My pure all natural Himalayan salt is harvested by hand deep within the heart of the stunningly majestic Himalayan mountain foothills. The salt deposits were formed over a million years ago from ancient seas. This is the purest salt available as it has been untouched by any
pollutants of modern times. The gorgeous crystal pink salt was so cherished for its taste and color that is was bartered as currency. Pink salt has been used throughout the ages in baths and body scrubs and is known for its beneficial
properties. Pink Himalayan salt contains 29 natural elements from the seas and oceans including sodium, potassium, iron, magnesium, calcium and copper. The advantages of using Himalayan
salts have been enjoyed by people for generations and is a wonderful soothing addition to your bath.
I offer both fine/medium salts for the tub and hand carved solid salt bars. Himalayan salt bars can be used for bathing, showering, to detoxify and exfoliate. They can be heated in the microwave to be used as massage stones. You can add a Himalayan salt bar to your bath, rub it on a washcloth with soap to dissolve some of the salt for a cleansing exfoliating scrub. Since the salt is hygroscopic, you can wet the bar and rub it on the skin for a natural deodorant.
Revel in the ancient pleasure of a warm bath
enriched with the beautiful pink salt crystals from the primordial
evaporated seas of the Himalayas. Enjoy!
