I designed a little angel ornament with just a few colors so they could easily be changed to fit another colorway or a different project. An angel silhouette surrounded by pink roses and beads. I chose a cappuccino brown floss for the angel and warm shades of pink for the flowers and gold beads. I like victorian colors to decorate for the Christmas season. For the ornament I chose some complimentary fabrics and a satin ribbon for hanging. It takes just a little bit of fabric so it is a nice project for using up little scraps. I trimmed the design to about 1/2" around and sewed strips of fabric to each side. I cut a piece of backing fabric the same size and cut a 6" ribbon for the hanger. Sew with wrong sides together, the ribbon inside, and leave a space for turning. Turn, press and topstitch around the ornament closing the opening. A quick and easy project. These look great as package decorations too and then the recipient can use the ornament.
