I mentioned in my previous post that I got commissioned for three necklaces from a loyal client. I have completed all three of them last night. My client didn't have anything specific in mind regarding the design but she trusted me completely to make nice designs that would suit her taste in Copper. She picked three stones from my stash, two of them being Labradorite in two different color flashes, and the other one was Rutilated Quartz. This Rutilated Quartz was bought specially for her because she wanted a similar design done as the necklace my aunt bought from me a couple months ago. She's her BFF.
So here I presented you, three wire wrapped newest pieces from me. All wire wrapped with Copper wire, And I have incorporated my maker's stamp on all three of them. I'm quite proud of myself because I'm able to brand my creations. Yay!
1. Crossing Labradorite; wire wrapped in Copper wire with addition Calchedony faceted briolette and crystal in blue color. The clasp has my maker's mark, hand stamped letter by letter on a copper washer and I added a simple hammered T-clasp as the closure.
2. Yayaya Necklace II; featuring my Cocoon Bead in basket weave. Also done in Copper wire with Swarovski Crystals and Rutilated Quartz as the focal.
Check the first version of Yayaya Necklace here. I have added my maker's mark on the cord's end but I forgot to take a picture of it :(
3. Flower Labradorite; a simple fantasy flower design done in Copper wire, inspired by this
earring post. I attached a copper washer with my maker's mark on the back of it. Do you think it's brilliant of tacky? But my aunt thinks this design is so cool and she wants something similar!
