The journal is hard covered front and back with a rainbow lined decorative paper over the board. There is no hard spine on this journal so that it will lay flat. Inside this journal are pages made from black card stock, perfect for use with colored gel pens. It is hand sewn together with linen thread and a green stripped ribbon is used as the closure for this journal.
