STEAMPUNK-ISTA Chow on Changeable chain

Product Description
One of the most rewarding things about working with polymer clay is the ability to mimic all sorts of materials, from semiprecious gemstone to realistic metals...for a fraction of the price and weight of the real deal.

This dazzling necklace is one of my metallic Steampunk* series featuring a faux ivory hand sculpted chow head, surrounded by a sea of purple Fashionista Glitz!!!

The background behind the chow is rich ebony black in a matte finish, then pearlized and metallic sculpted details were added in jeweltone silver purple, teal and turquoise! 3 coats of protective clear glaze, add even more interest to the textures as well as magnify finish to the metals

Just below the chow head you can see a stunning repurposed bracelet link from a recent garage sale find with large purple rhinestones set against a gunmetal silver base. Below I suspended a reproduction gunmetal toned Chinese coin to give her some Bling money to fling around.

The soft and beautiful chain (again in a gunmetal finish) is one of my Changeable bead chains which are so beautiful to wear and fun to accessorize with your own large hole beads. The one end screws off to change the look anytime you wish with your own large hole beads or Pandora charms. This is a 16" chain with a 4" extender chain to make it very versatile

Beads included are 2 iridescent Swarovski crystals and 2 vintage ivory lucite beads, with an electric assortment of rich anodized aluminum rings for spacers in purple and teal.

This is a beauty folks!! The chow from top of head to bottom of pendant measures 2"....the 1" coin is hinged below that with even more aluminum ring accents.
