This is an amazing find!

This is a fossilized whelk (spiral) shell. What is special about it is the golden calcite crystals inside of it. This shell is literally filled with crystal!

This is a full whelk shell--it broke into two pieces during cleaning, and you will get both pieces. I have pictured the inside of each piece so that you can see the wealth of crystal inside.

This is a very beautiful piece, which I found myself in Ft. Drum, Florida with my little brother. Shells filled with the golden calcite crystals of this size cannot be found anywhere else in the world, and the mine they were originally from has now been filled in.

This makes a beautiful display piece, and is especially good as a prop for taking product pictures. The crystals are gorgeous!
