This orange bag has been embroidered with a raven sitting on a twisted tree. Use it to stash Halloween candy to give to trick-or-treaters or else send it out for the night with one of your children on All Hallows Eve. The embroidery design has a raven and tree silhouetted against a full, round moon. The eye of the raven has been stitched in yellow to create a bit of spooky drama.

Our raven silhouette Halloween bag is handmade out of canvas-weight orange cotton. It is lined with a botanically-themed fabric, which is black with white details. The organic, twisting motif of the lining fabric echoes the twisted shapes of the tree silhouette. The artist specifically selected this fabric rather than a more typical Halloween fabric for visual appeal. The lining wraps over the top of the bag to bind the embroidered orange shell and lining together. This binding method means that a 1" border of the lining is visible at the top of the bag.

Bag has two handles on the sides; they are positioned so that the embroidery is visible when your child holds out the bag while trick-or-treating. Handles were designed to be relatively short to prevent children from dragging the bag on the ground while running from house to house on Halloween.

The raven and tree are silhouetted entirely in black using polyester embroidery thread which has been manufactured in the USA. A deep golden moon frames the scene. A little shading has been introduced into the moon using orange thread to create a rich, interesting design. Embroidery measures just under 5" wide by 4.75" tall and used 33,505 stitches to sew.

A fabric bag takes up less space than a plastic pumpkin bucket, and is much more attractive. The bag is also a reasonable size, so that your child cannot collect an entire pillowcase's worth of candy.
