This is a handmade, permanently open 1:12 scale book.

It shows two pages from a book of woodcuts printed in Italy in 1487.

It would be a lovely miniature for any period dolls house library (especially a Tudor or Jacobean house), a bookshop, or a setting devoted to antiques.

It has been handcrafted from wood, with a black leather cover. The cover has been detailed in gold and edges of the "pages" are gilded. I've used acidfree glues in constructing this piece and the "pages" are protected with two layers of acidfree matte varnish.

If you'd like this book with a different colour leather cover, or even a faux leather cover, please let me know!

It measures 1-1/4" tall x 1-1/2" wide x 1/4" thick.

While this piece is quite sturdy, like most 1:12 miniatures it is not intended as a toy for small children.
