This 10 x 6 inch box was commissioned and specially made to represent the Element of Earth, using symbols and words as requested by Kate, as well as some of my own ideas. Oak, maple and other leaves, flowers, the Green Man, and the pentacle, all invoke the spirit of the Earth for this special item.

All tiles were hand stamped or sculpted, then painted with mica powders or acrylic paint. Finally, the tiles were given a satin coat of varnish for added sheen and protection. The box itself was sanded, stained hunter green, and waxed.
