I handmade this quilted table topper using the Colorful Christmas fabric Collection by My Mind's Eye for Riley Blake Designs. This cheerful fabric line is so cute it is bound to bring a smile to your face. The fabrics feature little girls in cute snow suits, penguins, adorable snowmen, snowflakes and trees. The back is red flannel. The quilt measures approximately 24" x 24" and would look adorable any table. I machine pieced and machine quilted this piece in a meandering pattern using an off white Egyptian cotton thread. The binding is double folded and machine stitched to the front and hand stitched on the back. The batting used in this quilt is cotton. I have washed this quilt giving it a slightly puckered vintage look. The quilt can be washed on a gentle cycle setting in cold water with mild detergent and tumble dried. This quilt would make a lovely addition to your home during the holiday season to come!
