This double size ahd elaborately handquilted quilt is from the heyday of my full size quiltmaking career. I live along the Missouri River, southweat of St. Louis. Good friends own a winery nearby and she was my master quilter during my apprenticeship. The colors remind me of the soft springtime and the intricate grape clusters handquilted into the border are a tribute to time and patience.
