Thank you for visiting my store. Banana Bottoms Cloth Diaper is a registered business in Nova Scotia and is run by a WAHM. All of my Banana Bottoms diapers and other Banana Bottom products are designed and sewn by me. I am a liscenced seamstress for Little Comet Tails patterns.

I am strongly committed to the environment and health of my children and believe that cloth diapering is an easy way to contribute to the health of both. I strive to provide a quality product that is easy to use and economically available to a wide audience.

Although my diapers are sized, you may not use all of them. Some newborns are large enough to wear the small size right away (with a few modifications). Mediums are the size that your baby will stay in the longest, from approx. 1 year - 2.5 years. Larges are considered a toddler size and will fit children who are late trainers.

Newborn diapers will fit up to around 12 pounds, depending on your baby's shape, or approx up to 3 months.

Smalls will fit from 10 to 18 pounds or from approximately 3 months - 10 months to 1 year.

Mediums fit 15-28 pounds or from 1 year until approx. 2 1/2.

Large fit over 22+ pounds, or 2+ years and are considered toddler sized.

Please use the provided measurements as the determining factor when ordering. They will provide the most accurate fit as weights/age vary considerably between babies. Rise should be used as the determining factor as bamboo fabrics are very stretchy and there is a lot of accomodation through the waist. If you are buying for a baby that you don't know the weight/measurements, contact me and I will be happy to help you choose the correct size.

I started making cloth diapers for my oldest, who is now 13. Having four kids has allowed me to play around with fabrics and patterns and find what works best. Please let me know how they are working for you - I can't make them better without your help :) I always welcome constructive criticism :)
Payment

I accept Paypal only. Payment is expected immediately. If payment is not received at time of sale I will send one reminder email. If payment is not received promptly I will invoice you through paypal. If payment is not received within 24 hours I will cancel the sale.Thanks for your understanding.

Shipping

All orders will ship within 24 hours of cleared payment via Canada Post.

I ship from Canada and shipping is costly here. It is always more cost efficient to purchase larger quantities and have them all ship together (see my package deals). Excess shipping charges will be refunded.

Within Canada - Items are sent regular package mail. If you would like a quicker method, please contact me prior to ordering.

US Destinations - 1-4 items are sent Small Packet Air. This includes insurance but NO tracking. If you wish to add tracking to your item, please let me know as this is an additional cost to the buyer. Items to the US will usually arrive within 1-3 weeks. Please contact me prior to purchase if you require a quicker shipping method.

5 or more items will be sent with a tracking number. I will ship via the most cost efficient method. These items will usually take between 1-2 weeks to arrive. Please note that this time frame is not guaranteed.

If you need a quicker shipping method, please contact me prior to purchase. Please be advised that these will be costly.

International Destinations - Single items are sent Small Packet Air which are insured but not trackable. Larger orders will always be sent with tracking. As I always try to provide you with economical shipping costs this may mean the parcel is sent surface. If you prefer your package to go by air, please be aware that this is much more costly and should be discussed prior to purchase. I will not send more than 4 items without a tracking number. This is for both of our peace of mind. Arrival times will vary according to destination.

All items are sent with a factual customs forms with the fully declared value of the contents. Any customs fees are the responsibility of the purchaser.

IMPORTANT NOTE: In Canada, we do not have postal service on weekends. Please take that into consideration when placing your order. Thank you :)

Refunds and Exchanges

All my items are handmade and some variation is to be expected, however no item is sent out that has not been quality checked. If you do find something amiss, please contact me immediately upon receipt.

Custom orders are non-returnable.

Final sale items are final. No returns, no exchanges, no exceptions.

Because of the nature of my products, once an item has been used it can no longer be returned. Please check fit upon arrival of item.

All of my products are guaranteed to be free from defects for 45 days after purchase. This guarantee is void if normal use and care has not been followed. If there are any problems, please contact me and I will either replace or repair the item at my discretion. Warranty valid only on items purchased directly from me.

Additional Policies and FAQs

My fabrics are milled in Canada and North America. Bamboo fabrics are OEKO-Tex certified. I strive to use organic fabrics wherever possible. All diaper fabrics are prepped prior to sewing in an environmentally friendly detergent.

Please contact me before returning item - I will not accept items if you have not contacted me first.
