Artfire requires that prices are listed in US$ which is what final payment is made in even though you can display alternative currencies. As I am based in the UK I calculate my prices in GBP and then convert to US $, as such, at times I may have to alter my prices (increase AND decrease) to reflect the current exchange rate.
I expect to receive payment within 3 days. I prefer PayPal, but also accept cheques drawn from UK bank accounts. If you plan to pay via cheque, please email me and let me know! I will send out the item once the cheque has cleared through my bank account which can take up to 7 days.
I do send reminder emails, but if I haven't heard from you or received payment via Paypal within 3 days, the transaction will be cancelled and the item relisted.
Please remember that I am in the UK and shipping might take a bit longer for your purchase to reach you depending on where you live. Please allow on average 7-15 days for shipping if you are overseas.
New security measures have been put in place by USA security in that a majority of mail must now travel on a cargo plane. This means that shipping may take longer than expected to the USA, potentially up to 30 days.
I ship via UK Royal Mail. Items are shipped in suitable mailing envelopes for the protection of your items. Occasionally I do recycle packaging materials, this helps keep costs low.
Orders are mailed the same or next business day after payment is received (or once a cheque has cleared.) Should anything prevent this, I will email you to let you know.
I have tried to make my shipping costs as accurate as possible for both UK and International shipping based on Royal Mail prices. If the shipping cost is more than 0.70GBP/$1 different to what you have paid, I will refund the difference.
NO confirmation or insurance is included in the shipping. If you would like your order sent with registered post or to be signed for, please let me know and I can invoice for this additional payment. It is possible to send items overseas by International Registered Post. I cannot be responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged packages once they leave my hands.
POST TO RECIPIENT
I am happy to handwrite a card and post it directly to the recipient on your behalf but please contact me first to discuss wording etc and whether there are any differences in postage for example you might live in the UK but the recipient is in Australia.
REFUNDS & EXCHANGES:
My business practive is not to offer refunds unless the item is received damaged. In this instance you must contact me within 48hours of receipt. If the damaged item is returned to me then it can be refunded or replaced. All items must be returned in original condition and packaging and be shipped with delivery confirmation back to me. The buyer is responsible for any shipping charges incurred in returning the item. Refunds will be made via PayPal (less shipping charges) within 48 hours of receipt.
If you do require a replacement card please bear inmind that many of my cards are one-of-a-kind therefore a replacement may not be exactly the same as what you have ordered.
Refunds or Exchanges are not available on any custom order.
I try to use as accurate photos as possible to reflect each item. If you require further images or description before purchase, please contact me at through Artfire. Your request will be responded to as soon as possible. Please note however that every computer screen is slightly different and therefore colour differences may be slight.
I welcome custom orders to create you something to your requirements. Please use the Contact Artisan button. If your request is for a large quantity or for a higer value item you may be asked to pay 50% of the price upfront and then the remaining 50% upon completion of the item.
If you have requested a custom card but upon completion and seeing photographs do not like the product I reserve the right to list the item for sale. There will be no charge in this instance.
