QUALITY - Cate Jewelry's products are made by me, using a fine quality of freshwater pearls, and semi-precious or precious stones and stone beads, and sometimes - crystal, delica or rocquille beads as accents. The pearls have lovely luster and color, and are unblemished-the stones are well cut and nicely polished, so your finished piece feels smooth and silky as well as looking good.

To keep costs reasonable I use fine or sterling silvers, gold-fill wire, metals and gold-fill findings of a fine quality. Gold-fill products are not a thin gold-plate, but a nice layer of gold bonded to a brass core- a very durable product. If you prefer 14K gold, I can provide this for an additional charge.

PAYMENT - Payment should be received within 3 days of purchase. If payment is not received by that time, I reserve the right to cancel the order.

I accept only PayPal for all orders. You can use PayPal, at no cost to you, even if you do not have a PayPal account. Just follow the links at checkout.

SHIPPING - I will ship your order from 1 to 4 business days after payment is received. If the address you give Artfire does not agree with the address you use with PayPal, I will ship to your Artfire address.

For shipping in the U.S., I use USPS Priority Mail with Delivery Confirmation. For Canadian customers, I ship USPS Priority Mail with Delivery Confirmation. In both cases, I share some of the cost for shipping with you, and include insurance on orders of $100 and up.

If you want any other USPS services, please contact me BEFORE you pay for your order so that I can tell you the additional cost of these services, and send a corrected invoice for you.

Occasionally, packages are lost or damaged in the mail. This is beyond my control, and I cannot be responsible if this occurs. I will work diligently to track any lost items through the USPS. A package is considered lost after 30 days (U.S.), or 45 days for International orders. If an item with Delivery Confirmation is reported missing, but is confirmed through USPS Tracking, I cannot consider it lost.

PACKAGING - All jewelry is shipped tissue-wrapped, in a nice box, with a decorative seashell enclosed.

EXCHANGES AND RETURNS - I try to minimize exchanges and returns by working with you closely before shipping to give you as much information as I can, and to alter lengths (if possible) before I send you the piece you've ordered. That said, all items are eligible for exchange, store credit or refund in the amount of the item(s) purchased (not including shipping), if you request this option within 3 days of receiving the item and return it to me, at your expense, within 5 days of receiving it - unworn and in its original condition and packaging, with Delivery Confirmation, and insurance if the piece was over $100.00.
