Welcome to Desert Rubble's Artfire shop! I hope you've found something you love. I've tried to write down things here that seemed pertinent to anyone buying an item from me but if you still have questions please ask.
I am a polymer clay Artist, please know that if you are buying one of my handcrafted items, it is polymer clay, not metal.
I do not accept money orders or personal checks. This shop accepts Paypal and credit cards.
If you pay via Paypal and want your order shipped to an address other than the one in your Paypal profile, please edit the 'address to ship' to when checking out on paypal. Paypal policies state I must ship to the address on their invoice, regardless of the address you enter here on Artfire. You can easily enter a 'gift' address when you go to the paypal checkout page.
I do not ship until the method of payment clears and that includes PayPal e-checks so keep that in mind when paying as those can takes a few days to clear.
No shipping on Sundays and I am no longer shipping Int'l packages on Saturdays. All items are generally shipped a day or two after payment clears, sometimes the same day.
I ship via USPS First Class with delivery confirmation within the US. If you require priority mail please contact me, but FC travels fairly quickly with the exception of holiday shipping.
I do ship internationally- Customs forms will be marked as merchandise as required by law, buyer assumes all responsibility for duty, customs, tariff, or VAT fees incurred by their country. I am shipping all Int'l packages via First Class. Please be aware this can take 4 weeks or more to arrive. Most packages do not take that long, most get delivered in under 10 days.
Refunds and Exchanges
I try to accurately photograph every item and represent it as truthfully as possible but if for some reason you're unhappy with your purchase please contact me IMMEDIATELY. You may ship the item back to me at your expense. I will accept undamaged returns within 10 DAYS of delivery and refund the price of the item minus shipping fees. I do not however accept any returns on earrings or custom orders.
Additional Policies and FAQs
I'm always happy to make customized notes for gift purchases- just ask.
If you've seen something that you wanted but it is sold, feel free to ask if I can make another, usually it's just a matter of adding it to my to do list.
Custom pieces? I rarely take on entirely custom requests ....designing and making an entirely new item is very time consuming and I only do it if it's something I'd like to have in my shop.
I don't do personalized work, like engraving and I don't do logos or trademarked work.
Holds? I will keep an item on reserve for one week. I simply can't afford to have something that might sell otherwise tied up for an indefinite time on reserved status. I can always remake a piece for you, though, and have it ready when you're ready for it =)
