ACCEPTED FORMS OF PAYMENT: Faith Works currently accepts the following forms of payment: Paypal, Amazon.com Payments, Google Checkout, Checks*, **Money Orders, and ***cash. *Checks should be made payable to "Alana Wells" and will be subject to a 3.00 'Check Fee'. **Money Orders should be made out to "Alana Wells". ***Cash payments are only accepted for in town orders! SHIPPING TERMS: We ship everything we can via "Priority Mail". This ensures that your product gets to you within 2-3 business shipping days (Monday-Saturday). While we try to ship the next day please allow for a maximum of three days for your order to be shipped. For each order we email you personally with the email that is included in your invoice with us to let you know the exact date your order was shipped. If you do not receive an email confirming your shipping within 72 hours of a confirmed order (that means we've received your order as well as payment) please feel free to contact us and we'll let you know if there are any problems or delays. We will not ship an order until it has been confirmed. If we know we will not be able to ship within 72 hours of your confirmed order we will let you know as soon as possible. In the event that you need something shipped by a certain day, please be sure to include this information in your "Message to Seller". In the event we cannot make this deadline we will contact you via email. All emails come from: faithworks.owner@gmail.com! AFTERCARE OF ITEMS: This information will be available in the description of the item as well as with the item when it is shipped. This information includes: storage, laundering, and shelf life as applicable. CUSTOM ORDERS: (At a glance) Custom orders will be handled in the following manner: order will be discussed in detail between the buyer and seller. In this initial conversation details will be worked out to include: materials, prospective cost, and production time. After this initial contact either the buyer or seller may contact the other for further details or amendments. In addition, either buyer or seller may cancel the order at any time before it has been paid for. **Note: Should the order take more than the proscribed time, the seller will notify the buy at least 1 day in advance. (Full policy) We're glad you've shown interest in having something made specially for you by us! We want you to know that custom orders, while sometimes challenging, are our favorite part of crafting and something we immensely enjoy doing! Now as we're unsure of how much experience you have dealing with artists and requesting a custom order we want you to know where we stand on them and what our "take" is! **Some items you will notice have a note with them specifying that they have "custom colors available". While most anything in our store can be "tweaked" these are among the simplest to reproduce with modifications (mostly color oriented ones.) Be sure to note the color cards attached in the picture collection for these items as they will reflect what colors are available! Color availability may affect production time!** Customization of a piece, depending on what precisely it is, can be either a difficult or very simple task. When dealing with the former we ask your patience and assure you we will be with you every step of the way both in design and production to keep you posted and let you know exactly what is going on. That being said, there are some mediums that have very specific limitations to them and to re-create certain affects is not always possible in the way a customer, or even the designer, may originally "see it". We assure you every effort will be made to produce the product we {you the consumer & us the artist(s)} have in mind but know that some things may have to be changed to get the overall picture. Before embarking on any custom order (to include actual designing as well as purchasing of materials/tools) we will "sit down" with you and work out what you're looking for, our suggestions to achieving this, and any other details that need to initially be worked out. After our initial "design consultation" we will work out prospective pricing to match any details or modifications that have been made (if said product is based on an existing one) or just the general cost considering materials. An important note: We do not begin custom orders without a deposit payment first! Deposit payment is at minimum the cost of materials or a percentage of the final price, if one is available. This is because 99.9% of the time we will not have the particular materials in stock to make the item and will need to purchase them. That being said, there may be a large difference in the cost of a similar item that is pre-fabricated due to how we must obtain the materials (going through different means such as online, or different suppliers). For some custom orders we will allow the payment broken down into an initial deposit and smaller payments (of at least 25.00 USD). This reflects a piece that may be heavily modified from another idea, but not yet tested. The initial quote will be of the deposit, which is non-refundable, but only reflects a portion of the final price. The deposit will be deducted from the final price and you will pay the difference. In the even that the "test" is done and you do not wish to continue with the purchase you are free to cancel the order at that time. However, you will not receive your deposit back. This is because the items have been purchased, and partially used or opened and we cannot return them either. The next important part of the "custom order" equation is production of your item. Depending on the type of craft used this can take a day to several weeks. You will be immediately informed as part of our "design consultation" how long you can expect your item to take to be made, as well as during the process if there are any delays and the exact progress of your piece. Finally there is the shipping of your order. In the event that you have ordered several things that are pre-fabricated as well as requesting a custom item we will work out with you how you want everything shipped. If you wish it altogether we will make a special invoice that will reflect the actual shipping, versus an estimate, of all of your items together. In the event that you have your items shipped separately we will again research the exact price of your custom item's shipping needs and create a special invoice for you. Again, we're ecstatic that you've decided you want a special piece from us and we look forward to working with you and creating it! HOLDS: Again we're glad you've showed interest in our store, this page is to address our hold policy on items in our store. Faith Works' most current hold policy is as follows: we will guarantee an item can be held for 1 week (7 days). During this hold period we will not deactivate or unlist an item, but we will mark it with your name. It is the customer's responsibility to initiate the hold week. After the week has expired the item will again be available to anyone. If in the course of the hold week the item has interest shown by another customer we will not sell it to them, however we will notify them when the hold week has expired and if it is still available. Holds may only be placed for a week, no longer, and you cannot repeatedly & consecutively put an item on hold. Therefore we suggest that you only place an item on hold when you are sure that it is something you will buy in a set period of time. If you wish to place the order on hold again and already have before, you must wait 90 days to place the item on hold again. After three holds that have not resulted in a sale you will not be allowed to put the item on hold any longer.
