ORDERING PROCESS:Simply email me a clear, detailed, well-lit photograph, and a few extras for reference, if possible. I prefer a jpg file so that you need not transport actual photos. I ask for a 50% deposit to get started, and I will send you a preliminary sketch for approval before I complete the work. I keep you informed every step of the way, so that you will be involved in the process. The finished portrait is mailed out upon receipt of your final payment. You should expect a turnaround time of 2-6 weeks, depending on my workload. The portrait is made with acid-free paper, sealed with archival quality fixative, and arrives ready to mat and frame.
SHIPPING INFORMATION: Your portrait is delivered flat in a protective wrap, sent by priority mail, and insured for purchase price.
ADDITIONAL COPIES: You may order additional prints, if desired, at the time of purchase. Please feel free to contact me with any questions.FRAMING TIPS: These drawings are best matted before framing, so that the surface of the drawing is not touched by the glass. It is best not to mat too closely to the edges of the image, to avoid crowding, but to allow a comfortable space. Choose mat colors carefully, so the nuances of the drawing will not be overpowered. Handle the portrait carefully by the edges. Do not roll, but store flat until framed, preferably between acid-free tissue or other paper.
