As you may be aware, the USPS has recently increased its prices. I am still working out the new cost of shipping things, but if you are interested in ordering a photograph from my shop, please message me and I'll figure it out for you as quickly as I can. Also: Please consult with your local post office regarding any VAT, customs duties, or import taxes required of you in advance. Unfortunately, I've no control of these fees and cannot predict or have them waived. Thank you for understanding.

_____ About the prints _____
Unless otherwise noted, all of my photos are limited to a run of 776 prints.
A professional photo lab takes care of my printing in order to assure the most consistent level of quality. Please be aware that the colour on the photos match my own carefully calibrated monitors, but due to differences in the way your monitor has been calibrated and differing light conditions, you may see different tones on screen than you receive on your print. I cannot be responsible for these differences, but rest assured that no photograph is sent out without my carefully inspecting it first.
If you're interested in another size of a particular photo, just send me a note. If the size you decide upon is not in stock, I'll order it immediately. Usually it arrives here within three to four business days, and after I take a look at and sign it, the photo will be mailed out to you. Just keep in mind that altogether, this usually takes approximately five business days, not counting holidays.
Each photograph, printed on archival-quality photo paper, is signed with the title and number on the back, and is accompanied by a certificate of authenticity.
Please note that when you buy a photograph, you are only buying the print of the image and not the copyright to or use of the image. All copyrights to the photograph remain with me. If you would like to license the image for publication or re-use in another fashion, you must contact me first.

I'm also happy to work with you on sets of prints that work well together, finding something specific for that special spot or room, or putting your favourite (or most hated) images on notecards, postcards, or other items.
Please keep in mind that sales tax must be added to any items shipped to Ohio addresses.
* Payment should be received the same day (24 hours) as your order.
* Orders not paid within 3 days will be canceled and re-listed.
Items are not packaged and shipped until payment is received, so the faster you pay, the faster I can ship.
_____ Shipping _____
Items will be shipped first-class to confirmed payment method address unless otherwise arranged.
Your Artfire and payment method addresses need to match. If you're sending the item as a gift to someone else, just let me know in a note at the time you order. Please, PLEASE double-check the address you are having prints sent to, ensuring it is correct; differing addresses will result in a delay until we get the address right. If a package is returned to me due to an address error on your part, you will be responsible for the cost of re-shipping the item.
Prints are lovingly packaged very securely and shipped flat, enclosed in acid-free tissue paper, protected by twin pieces of foam core and a Tyvek envelope, all in an attempt to thwart any potential damage during their trip via USPS.
If you'd like insurance, let me know and I am more than happy to acquire it for you and bill you for the amount; usually this is not terribly expensive: about $1.05 US and $1.50 internationally for an order up to $100.
Should an order be lost or not arrive in a respectable amount of time, we'll do our best to find it together. Ultimately, a lost item will be my responsibility; a replacement print will be sent to you at no cost.
If you prefer a shipping vendor other than the USPS, let me know and we'll work it out. Remember: I want you to be a happy customer.
_____ Shipping Times & Print Availability ______
On-hand photographs will be shipped within three business days, and usually much faster (as in same or next day). If I am on holiday or at a shoot, show, fair, or exhibition when you place your order (these will always be noted on the front page of the shop and in my email to you after your purchase), please allow 2-5 days after the specified return date for your item to ship.
INTERNATIONAL BUYERS: If it turns out I've overcharged you for shipping, you will be refunded the difference. Sorry for the inconvenience...at least 'till I get the hang of shipping across the border. Thanks for your understanding and patience.
Please do not ask me to lie on customs forms. I won't.
_____ Refunds and Exchanges _____
It is my desire for you to be entirely happy with your purchase, so I try to keep my policies very open. Please don't abuse this.
Liberty Images does not charge a restocking fee.
_____ Returns _____
If for any reason you are not satisfied with your photo, please contact me within 5 business days after receiving the item. You will receive a full refund if the item in question is sent back unused and in original condition. The cost of return shipping is your responsibility.
_____ Damaged Items _____
No matter how well an item is packed, damage can and sometimes does happen in shipping. If you'd like insurance, please ask and I will bill you for the additional amount. If the damage is due to the shipping agency, a claim must be filed with the agency in question.
Once the shipping claim has been approved or we have agreed the damage was my fault, you will need to provide proof that you have destroyed the first print before a replacement will be sent.
In short, items must be returned within 2 weeks of delivery. Buyers are responsible for all exchange or return shipping fees. Prints must be returned in the original condition. Finally, please be sure to email me before shipping anything back.

Like eBay and Amazon, Artfire allows both buyers and sellers to leave feedback on transactions. Feedback is optional but greatly appreciated! Feedback helps both parties create a history, allowing other members to feel more secure when considering a purchase or sale.
Feedback is left for all customers. Rest assured that I do not consider a transaction complete until any outstanding issues have been resolved on your behalf; still, I leave feedback as soon as I can after shipping your item. I also don't leave retaliatory feedback, unless you've promised fudgy chocolate brownies but never sent them (hey, some things are just too important to let go).
