You do not need an account with PayPal if you would like to pay by credit card. The checkout system here at ArtFire is safe and secure. The payment deadline for regular priced items is 3 days from the date of checkout, including holidays and weekends. Orders that include sale items will be canceled after 48 hours if payment is not completed. Money Orders: Purchases made by money order ship once payment has cleared - please allow an extra 2-4 weeks (for destinations outside of British Columbia). Money orders should be made payable to Natasha vanPelt. If you do not have an ArtFire account please be sure to include your regular email address when you complete checkout. -*- Shipping: I try to keep shipping costs fair and reasonable. If the actual postage costs for your order are less than what you paid by more than $ 1, you will be refunded the difference through the same payment method you used. Items are shipped within 2 business days of cleared payment. For Canadian destinations I use Canada Post Lettermail or Parcel Post. For US destinations I use Air Mail parcel services. Shipping methods to international destinations will vary by the size of the order. Standard shipping time for North American destinations is 7-10 business days, but this can vary for each destination. Many packages arrive within a week but please allow up to 4 weeks, especially during peak periods. If you are buying from outside of Canada or the US please note that shipping can take up to 8 weeks. Customs fees and tariffs are not common on orders, but may be applied to your package on delivery. Please let me know if you have any questions about your order at any time. Please help complete the circle by reusing and recycling packaging materials with me. -*- Returns: If you aren't satisfied with your order in any way, please send me a message through ArtFire or by email within three days of receiving your order, so I can make it right. Most purchases can be returned within 7 days of receipt - in the same condition and manner that it was sent. I will refund the purchase price less postage. Personalized custom jewelry is not refundable. I guarantee all of my jewelry to stand up to normal wear and use for one full year. With proper care they should last a lifetime. If an item breaks due to craftsmanship or error I will repair or replace it. Jewelry that is damaged due to misuse can not be refunded or exchanged but can usually be repaired for a fee. Some materials are limited edition so it is important to return as many of the components as possible. Return shipping is not covered but I will ship your repaired item back to you at my expense. -*- Privacy: Your safety and privacy are very important to me. To ensure a long life for your beaded jewelry, please wear and store items with care. Beadwork jewelry should not be worn during sports, while swimming, cleaning, or washing your hands. Store rings, bracelets, and necklaces in a dust proof container whenever possible. Hanging beaded jewelry can cause unnecessary wear to the threads and beads. Step Two: I will work with you to come up with your perfect design - either a variation of an existing piece, or an original creation to suit your tastes. This dialogue may include sketches and brainstorming, until we arrive at a final blueprint. I will calculate a price estimate for you, which you must approve before work begins. I do my very best to quote an accurate price, and you will not pay more than what is quoted. If we agree on design changes, a new quote will be calculated for you. Step Three: Next we will work on color selections. Based on your preferences and ideas, I will create palettes from the colors that I have available, and give you a chance to approve them or make changes. If I don't have the colors you need, I will locate the correct palette for you from my suppliers. Step Four: I will send you updates while the design is being created, so that you can get an idea of how the finished product will look. Once it is complete, I will send you several images of the piece to look over, and create a reserved listing for you in my Studio. The Fine Print: All custom or reserved orders must be paid in full within 30 days, or they will be placed in regular circulation, so that others have the opportunity to purchase. A deposit is typically not required to create a custom design unless the piece is personalized - initialed, etc. - and cannot be sold on it's own. A non-refundable deposit may be required for some types of materials if they are needed to complete your custom piece. Deposits will be applied to the final value of your design. I will not copy designs found in books, magazines or other shops. I do not use metal components in my work, even for custom creations, but I am always ready for a challenge. Whatever idea you have for a piece of jewelry, I'm sure I can adapt it to a beaded clasp or no-clasp design. Custom creations will be completed in the order that they are requested. If you are requesting an item for a gift, it is a good idea to try to order at least 6 weeks in advance - more if the design will be very complex or elaborate.
