I accept Google Wallet, Amazon Payments, or PayPal. California buyers pay state sales tax. If you order multiple items, I package everything in one box when possible, which may save on shipping depending on the weight. Payment should be made within 24 hours. After 48 hours, the sale will be canceled and items returned to my shop.
I combine shipping when multiple items are ordered as stated in Payment, and refund excess postage in whole dollar amounts. For security, I only ship to the address specified by your payment method: Google Wallet, Amazon Payments or PayPal, and confirm unverified addresses by email. Most packages will be sent using USPS the next business day after receiving your payment; the same day if possible. I will contact you when your item is shipped so you can expect it. I can ship any order using UPS or FedEx if you like, please contact me and I will look up the shipping charges.
Insurance and Tracking:
I have not opted you into these additional postal services, but if you wish to pay for package insurance, delivery or signature confirmation, please let me know and I will gladly add them to your invoice at their current rate.
For US buyers, please contact me within ten days of your order date and I'm sure we will find a solution. I do not charge a return or restocking fee. Return shipping is the responsibility of the buyer, and since shipping is a service provided by a third party, postage cannot be refunded. International orders cannot be returned.
I do ship internationally when political and economic issues make it possible. Check with your post office first regarding their import rules, as some of my items may not be allowed in your country. All shipping fees including import, duty, tariff, VAT, or customs fees are the responsibility of the buyer. I will fill out customs forms accurately. There are no returns on international orders. I am shipping from the United States and delivery time varies by country, but it can take several weeks for your package to arrive, longer if it gets held up in customs. Contact me and I will calculate the postage charges.
Keeping down the shipping charges:
I am very aware of the ever-escalating cost of shipping. If your order fits in a Flat Rate Priority Mail box, I will use that as long as the postage if sent in a regular box would be higher. For smaller orders or items that just won't fit in those Flat Rate boxes, I will use recycled boxes and packing materials. We do rely on a third party to deliver packages from my shop to your door. Given the distances covered and the relative time it takes them to deliver, their service is still a good value.
Many of my items are true one-of-a-kind (OOAK) creations, as I prefer to work with rescued/recycled materials, and I couldn't make them again, even if I wanted to. Most of my items are made available in more than one of my selling venues. I am quick to remove unique items after they are sold, but in the unexpected event that two buyers simultaneously purchase a OOAK treasure, the first to complete the financial transaction will own the item. I will make every effort to find the second buyer a suitable replacement, or refund the transaction with my sincerest apologies.
