Immediate payment is required. Only Paypal payments are accepted at this time.
Alabama sales tax of 10% is applied to all sales shipped to addresses within Alabama.
Reserves are accepted. Please contact me if you need to reserve an item. Upon request items will be held for a maximum of 7 days.
Prices are non-negotiable, however we do have sales from time to time.
Coupons not valid on Sale or Final Sale items. All sales of items marked "Final Sale" are final - no return accepted.
Your order will ship as soon as possible, most often on the first business day following cleared payment. The exception is that I do not normally ship on Fridays or Saturdays. These are the days when I am busy searching out new treasures. All items are shipped via USPS. First Class or Parcel Post is used whenever it is less costly than Priority. With notice, rush requests can sometimes be accommodated.
Artfire combines and discounts shipping on multiple item orders during the check out process. The item with the highest shipping charge will be full price, and any additional items will use the "with another item" shipping charge. The rates are estimated based on item weight before packing and can sometimes be off. You may request an exact quote prior to purchase for a combined shipping rate by providing your city, state and zip code.
Insurances is included in the shipping charge for all domestic orders over $50 and ALL international orders. Domestic orders under $50 may be insured at our discretion or upon your request. If you receive a damaged item or package, please contact me immediately to resolve the issue. Photographs may be requested, and the item(s) and packaging must be saved for inspection by the delivery company.
For customers outside the US:
If you are outside the US and wish to purchase an item that has no "Everywhere Else" shipping cost please contact me for the shipping cost BEFORE ordering. Please be aware that your country's customs service may impose a range of import fees, taxes, tariffs, duties at the time of delivery. These are not in our control and we have no way of knowing when or if they will be imposed or how much they might be. For information you should contact your local customs agency.
To help offset handling costs I often use clean recycled boxes and packing materials.
RETURNS & EXCHANGES
At least part of the allure of vintage items lies in their having a past. With this in mind, I do my best to accurately photograph and describe each item's condition and will note any imperfections that I can see. It's impossible for me to be an expert in all items, consequently I may sometimes be wrong or miss something. With this in mind please be sure to enlarge the photos for the best view of condition. Feel free to contact me with any questions you have prior to purchase.
I want you to be happy with your purchases, if you are not, please contact me within 7 days of receiving your item. I will do my best to rectify the situation. I care about my customers and want you to be happy with your purchase and our service.
In the event of a return, all shipping costs will be paid by buyer. Any refund amount must be discussed and agreed to prior to the return. Sweet Southern Vintage must receive the returned merchandise in good condition for refund to occur. Shipping costs and third-party fees are non-refundable (imposed by third parties such as paypal).
