I no longer accept gemstones to set. If you want a custom setting for a gemstone you already have, you can send me the dimensions and I will create the setting. However, there are too many dangers with shipping gemstones to me and back through the mail.
I will accept your gold and/or sterling silver to use for casting of a new piece. However, I can only use 50% recycled gold in any piece. I will give you credit on the piece for the gold you send at 80% of market prices (I can only go as high as 80% because of the up and down of the markets - I can't be sure to get that much for it at a refinery - and because of the refining fees). So that means that if you have some pieces that you want recycled, I can use your gold for up to 50% of the gold required in the new piece, and then can credit you 80% of the spot price for the remaining weight of your gold. I don't purchase gold for refining, I just give store credit.
