The Magpie's Ritual maintains an interesting flock of curiosities. Since artists (and magpies!) have a variety of distinct interests, the best of the best must be searched, gathered, and sorted - Magpie style...so all you have to do is fly in, swoop up your favorite treasures, and get your creativity on! And now, for the generally important tweet, tweet, tweet...chirp, chirp, chirp... The Queen Magpie earned that title - it is not just a nickname! If you are looking for something you don't see or can't find, please convo the nest. Chances are high we have what you need - it just hasn't been listed yet. Cashier's checks and money orders will be considered. If necessary, please convo Katherine, Queen Magpie - there are a couple of additional alternatives we can explore, based on the total of your order (Google checkout, NetSpend, etc). If you choose to mail a money order or cashiers check to the nest, we reserve the right to hold shipment of your merchandise until your payment method clears. (Usually only 1-2 days.) We will, however, notify you as soon as we receive your payment - and then again when your order ships. *** NO PERSONAL CHECKS *** Cancellations: If you find you must cancel your order after it is placed and paid for - and we have NOT shipped the parcel yet, we will gladly refund your payment, less a 10% fee. ~ Shipping ~ Our Nest is located just outside of Denver, Colorado, USA...where the air is fresh, the mountain streams are clear & cold, the snow is plentiful, and the sunrises are breathtakingly spectacular! All orders ship from Denver - which happens to be in the mountain time zone (-7 GMT). To keep shipping costs down, items are safely secured in a bubble mailer whenever possible. The Magpies can't stand shipping charges (it decreases the amount of loot you can get!) - so we work hard to make sure you pay the absolute minimum for shipping. Please note: We make *nothing* on shipping. If you would like your parcel insured for an extra charge, please contact us and we will happily comply. If you would like to save even more on shipping, it is sometimes an option to mail items in a regular business envelope. If this option is selected it is at BUYERS OWN RISK. The Magpies will still pack it as securely as possible - but buyer assumes any damage. (Again, this is only an option at the customer's request and responsibility.) If interested in this option, please convo the Nest - we will let you know whether this is a possibility for your order - and give you the new cost. Clear as mud? Good. ...Ah, it would be so much easier to just use our wings! ;) Most packages ship USPS First Class Mail in a bubble mailer. Should your order require a box, it will then be shipped USPS Priority Mail. Bubble mailers seem to arrive about as quickly as Priority Mail (at least in the US) - however, if you have a need for special shipping arrangements, convo us and we will try to accommodate you. The Magpies try very hard to ship your order within 24 hours of payment. As everyone knows, life happens - so we reserve the right to ship within 3 days. If you are in a hurry, let us know - we'll make sure your order is out the door ASAP. Just remember, we have no control over the USPS...and we're not real sure that anyone does. Note: You may incur extra charges if your specially requested shipping method is more expensive than the way we would usually ship. ?~? Refunds and Exchanges ?~? Unless you purchase insurance, we cannot be responsible for your package once it leaves the nest. Please be assured that as a long time artist and seller (and frequent online buyer!), your items are packaged like wild gorillas will be handling your order. Everything is packed well so your items will enjoy a safe and secure journey to your hands.
