The information below will give you details on the quality of my workmanship, plus information regarding payment methods, shipping insurance, international mail, refunds, and other services that I offer. PAYMENT: The accepted method of payment is Pay Pal. An account is not necessary to make purchases. You can purchase through your banking credit card through the Pay Pal website. If your payment through Pay Pal is not completed within four business days, the sale will be canceled. Please make sure your e-mail address is the same for both your ArtFire and Pay Pal account. After your package is shipped, you will receive an e-mail message with a USPS tracking number. SHIPPING USA: Your item(s) will be packaged securely for mailing. The majority of items are shipped in a padded bubble envelope. Some items include a gift box. (New revised shipping 02/08/13.) Items priced above $30.00 will be shipped with insurance coverage. All earrings are shipped free. You can request insurance on any of the items by contacting me before you make the purchase. I will reserved a special listing for you adding the new shipping cost. Your item(s) will be shipped within two days after your payment through PayPal has been received. Exceptions Sundays, holidays or serious weather conditions. Please note that after August 5, 2013, I will no longer be mailing packages on Saturdays. If you order more than one item, the shipping cost for the additional item(s) is $1.00. There is no additional charge for ordering more than one free shipping item. SHIPPING TO CANADA: Your item(s) will be packaged securely for mailing. Most are shipped in a padded bubble envelope. Some items include a gift box. All items are shipped First Class without insurance. Please note that shipping can take between two to six weeks due to packages being held in customs. If you would like your item shipped Priority Mail, contact me for a revised shipping price. Priority Mail is shipped in 6 to 10 business days. There is small charge for Canadian residents on all items marked (free ship) to USA. SHIPPING OUTSIDE OF USA AND CANADA: Please contact me and I will give you a quote on your shipping fee. Some countries restrictions require that jewelry be shipped Priority Mail only. Some countries do not allow the shipment of jewelry as stated in their regulations. Please be aware that your own country's customs service may impose a range of import fees, taxes, tariffs, duties at the time of delivery. These fees must be paid by you. Falsifying customs declarations or having an item marked as "gift" in order to avoid customs fees is classified as Mail Fraud and is a felony. For more information, contact your local customs agency. Please keep in mind that international shipping can take up to three weeks for delivery. CHOICE OF COLOR, SIZE, LENGTH: If you are to make a choice of color, size or length as indicated in the description, please indicate your choice at "notes to seller" at checkout. If I cannot reach you by e-mail after 24 hours for this information, you will receive my choice. WORKMANSHIP: Items are packaged and well protected in either a cardboard jewelry box and bubble envelope or a plastic jewelry bag wrapped in cushioning in a bubble envelope. All delicate pieces, for example, crystals and glass, will be packed with extra cushioning. The beading wire I use in most of my beaded gemstone necklaces and bracelets is 49 strands. This grade of wire is the top quality because it is the strongest, the most durable, and provides the best drape. I will indicate in my descriptions when I have used 49 strands wire. Some lighter designs only require 7 strands. It is the most common strands used by jewelry artisans. For a professional finish, and durability, I use wire guardian protectors and crimp covers in most necklaces and bracelets. My gemstones are purchased from either gem shows or jewelry supply dealers. I do not purchase gemstones at local craft stores, because most are rated lower quality. I often use earring wires that are either non-nickel (nickel-free), sterling silver or surgical steel. This enables you to enjoy your earrings without allergic, itchy ears. Any earring wire can be exchanged to the metal of your choice. Metal clip-on are also available, including copper clip-on. Chain and cord are purchased in bulk, measured and cut to length with findings and clasps added. I can shorten the length of chain and cord at your request. Many items in sets (necklace with bracelet, for example) can be purchased separately. If not indicated in the description, please inquire. I would be happy to arrange a separate listing for you. REPAIRS: Do you have a piece of jewelry that needs repair? Contact me with a detailed explanation and I will send you a quote. DISCOUNTS: Percentage and Comment Discounts are subject to change. COUPON CODE DISCOUNT: Occasionally I offer a coupon discount. The code will show in my studio announcement. Please remember to apply it when ordering. Discounts will not be refunded if you forget to apply them. PURCHASING ITEMS AS GIFTS FOR OTHERS: If you are buying a gift for someone else and would like the receipt sent to you instead of the recipient, please let me know at "notes to seller" when ordering. I will contact you for your home or business address to send you the receipt. Otherwise, the receipt will be enclosed with your gift. RETURNS, REFUNDS AND EXCHANGES: All items except earrings are returnable within 10 days for a full refund including your original shipping charge. You are responsible for shipping the item(s) back to me at your expense. I highly recommend shipping the item with insurance coverage. Please include the gift box, if applicable. Keep your shipping receipt as proof of your return. If you sent me a message to cancel an order, it must be done immediately after purchasing, because I ship very quickly. If you e-mail me with questions about your purchase, I will reply to your e-mail within 24 hours. Please remember to also check your "Spam" folder" for my reply. DAMAGED ITEMS: If your (insured) item arrives damaged due to poor handling by USPS, you will be required to take a photo of the item (crushed package, item, etc.) BEFORE repacking and returning the item to me. Once this photo is e-mailed to me, it will be used to file a claim with USPS. ADDITIONAL POLICIES AND FAQ: Jewelry is made in my smoke free home. Your items and packaging will arrive without tobacco odors. Certain metals including sterling silver can tarnish over time. A jewelry polishing cloth made especially for removing tarnish is recommended. Keeping your jewelry in a plastic bag with an anti-tarnish sheet will also resist tarnishing. If the item is too large, it may be possible for me to make it smaller. If the item is too small, contact me and we will discuss the possibility of making it larger. Please use your discretion when purchasing jewelry for children under age 13. Some items may contain lead based materials. Small parts could cause a choking hazard in younger children.
