QUALITY ASSURANCE
We offer quality items, generally in excellent to mint condition, ready to wear or use--unless otherwise noted. "Excellent" means that we've determined there are no defects or flaws that adversely affect appearance or use, but there may minimal signs of typical wear. "Mint" means that the item appears brand new, or that we know it is unused. Occasionally we find a flawed item that is so unusual, lovely, or collectible that we believe the flaw is inconsequential in the grand scheme of things. The flaw(s) will be clearly noted in the description. Sometimes items may require minor repairs, which we will do or have done. These will be disclosed as well (unless it is restitching a button, seam break, or loose hem). When you receive items such as this, they will be in excellent condition!
Be assured that all items you select have been carefully inspected and researched for accuracy in dating, condition, and pricing.

PAYMENT
Payment is due within 5 days of purchase. We accept PayPal, Google checkout, personal check, USPS money order, bank check, Western Union. If payment is by personal or bank check, we do not ship until the check has cleared our bank and yours.
INTERNATIONAL ORDERS
We welcome international orders, but we are not responsible for any duties, taxes, or other fees imposed by the country to which the item is shipped. You are responsible for knowing your country's import/customs policies. We do not falsify customs forms; it is illegal to do so.
SHIPPING
Shipping is generally made within two (2) business days of cleared payment. If you need an item expedited, please contact us and we will do our best to accommodate you! We ship via USPS in most cases, either first class, parcel post, or priority mail domestically; first-class international mail to foreign locations in most cases. If you wish another shipping method, please ask.
Shipping insurance is included with all domestic shipments and most international ones. To some countries, we can only ship USPS Priority Mail International in order to provide insurance. Please contact us BEFORE ordering if you are an international customer, to confirm shipping and insurance details.
SHIPPING NOTE
If you pay via PayPal, we MUST ship only to the address listed in the transaction details. If you wish your purchase shipped to a different address, please add that address to your PayPal account. You then select it as the one to which you want the item shipped. This is easy to do, and you can add several addresses to which you ship.
RETURNS
We want you to be pleased with your purchase! Returns are accepted in some circumstances, for example, but not limited to, if we've overlooked a serious flaw, which is rare, but we are human. Generally, returns will not be accepted for size issues, as we're very meticulous about giving accurate and all pertinent measurements; it is up to you to determine if the garment will fit. Contact us prior to ordering if you are unsure about fit.
If you wish to return an item, you MUST request a return authorization within three (3) days of receipt, and must ship it back within three (3) days of authorization. If the item is found to have not been misrepresented, restocking fees may apply. Items MUST be returned in the condition in which they were shipped. If an item is returned without prior authorization, there will be no refund or credit.
SPECIAL-OCCASION DRESSES: NO returns for size. It is not uncommon to have special-occasion frocks tailored for fit, so if a garment doesn't fit "quite" the way you want it to, you may want to take it to a seamstress. You must notify us within 24 hours of item's arrival if there is a problem, and ship back to us within 48 hours.
Finally, remember that computer monitors are all different, and the color that shows on your monitor may not be exactly the color of the item. Please allow for such color variations. If an item is of a color that's difficult to photograph properly (and there are a few), I try to describe it accurately.
Really, I'm very easy to deal with, but I have to explain the rules so that we are in agreement as to the terms of sale! Thank you for your understanding.
