GENERAL INFORMATION

Each of the items shown on this site is individually handcrafted with care with the highest quality materials such as natural stones, sterling silver, gold-filled, copper or lead-free pewter, unless otherwise noted. Please understand that every creation is unique, so there can and will be subtle variations from piece to piece. Even when the same materials are used to reproduce a design, some creations cannot be duplicated exactly, so please allow for this. You will soon appreciate these subtle differences as something that makes your jewelry selection uniquely special.

I make every effort to describe and accurately photograph all items. However, due to variations in computers, monitors and settings, I cannot guarantee that the colors viewed on screen will be the exact colors of the items you will receive.

Persons who buy or use products from beadnicity agree to indemnify (not hold responsible) beadnicity of any responsibility for damages or injuries which may occur from the use of those products.


PAYMENT OPTIONS

Payment is expected at the time of ordering. Purchases that are not paid for at check out will result in a cancellation of your purchase after a 24 hour period and the item(s) re-listed for sale.

Credit Cards
Purchases can be made by PayPal which is a secure method of payment and protects your credit card information.

Money Orders/Personal Checks
Personal checks and money orders are also accepted. Please place your order online prior to sending a money order so that I may reserve your item(s) for you. If you do not do this, the items you would like to order may be sold before your payment arrives and is processed. Items will be held in reserve for 7 days with no exceptions. After 7 days they will be returned to the online store for purchase. Items paid by personal check and money orders will be shipped once they clear the bank. Please allow up to 2 weeks.

Sorry, but we cannot accept international money orders or non US checks.

SHIPPING

Orders can be shipped within the continental United States, Hawaii and Alaska by USPS First Class Mail. Please contact me to request other shipping methods and I will try to accommodate your request. Your invoice will be adjusted accordingly. Items purchased will be shipped within 3 business days of receipt and clearing of payment. An email will be sent when the order ships. Please allow 3-5 days for receipt of your order.

Insurance
Insurance is included on all shipments to protect your purchase. If the order arrives damaged in shipping please contact me at once as well as the shipper. Save all packaging for insurance claims.

SALES TAX

A sales tax of 6% is added to all orders shipped to Maryland addresses.

Overseas customers will be responsible for paying the proper custom and VAT taxes.

REPAIRS

Any jewelry purchased from beadnicity that needs repair within one year of purchase will be fixed at no charge provided there are no parts missing and the item has not been damaged. If any stones need to be replaced there will be a charge for replacing the missing materials. There is no charge for labor but there will be a charge for return shipping. Customer is responsible for shipping and insurance.

For repairs after one year there will be a charge based on the number of strands, complexity and time involved. Please request price in advance.

RETURNS

If you are not satisfied with your purchase you are welcome to return your order within 7 days of receipt for a refund minus shipping and transaction costs will be issued. All sales are final after 7 days.

To begin the return process, please contact me for a return authorization number. Merchandise returned without prior approval will be returned to sender. The item should be returned in its original, unworn condition (no scratches or blemishes and no broken, missing or exchanged stones) in the original packaging. The shipping cost to return item is incurred by the customer. Customers should include delivery confirmation and insure the returned item for full value. This ensures that you'll be reimbursed if the item is lost or damaged when shipped. Please note that we cannot take responsibility for damage incurred due to normal wear and tear or product abuse.

If you include your e-mail address we will notify you of your refund once we have received and processed the returned item. You can expect a refund in the same form of payment originally used for purchase within 7 to 14 business days after we receive your return.

JEWELRY CARE

Thank you for purchasing jewelry from beadnicity. Here are some tips for keeping your jewelry in good condition so you can wear it for many years to come.

Always remove your jewelry when housecleaning, using abrasive cleansers, bathing, or swimming. The chemicals can damage your pieces.

Metals such as sterling silver, gold-filled, and copper will tarnish over time if proper care is not given. To prevent tarnishing, use an anti-tarnish jewelry strip. All jewelry are shipped with an anti-tarnish strip. Store the jewelry in a plastic zip-lock bag. Save the silica gel packs that come with prescription medicines or in handbags or shoes. These are excellent for placing in your jewelry boxes.

When polishing your jewelry, use 100% cotton or specially made polishing cloths.
Always use jewelry cleaners made expressly for the type of cleaning. Some cleaners can damage certain natural stones.

Protect your jewelry by storing in separate boxes as some soft materials/stones such as pearls, lapis, malachite, turquoise and opals can be easily scratched.
