Payment: PayPal only.
Contacting the artist: I usually respond within 24-48 hours. I work 2nd shift, so responses during the week will be during the day.
Copyright: I, Valerie Evanson, hold the copyrights to all my artwork and all the privileges thereof. This includes the right to sell prints and novelty items of my images, the right list the images in any promotional pieces or websites or advertisements, the right enter the artwork in shows which do not require the original, etc.
Printing and assembly: unless noted otherwise, I do all of my own printing for items sold in this store. ACEO books and bookmarks are assembled by me as well. While I have some inventory on prints, photos and posters, but most are printed after payment is received.
Shipping: normally I use USPS 1st Class or Priority depending on the weight/size/cost/destination of the order. I can use 2nd day, overnight and/or UPS shipping if you email me before you pay so that I can send an adjusted invoice.
Combined Order Shipping discounts: is already figured into the shipping costs.
Packing Slips: In order to save trees, I usually do not include packing slips. However, if you need one for accounting purposes, please let me know, and I can include one or mail/email you a copy as necessary.
Packaging: I stock some standard shipping boxes, including Priority boxes and stayflat cardboard mailers. Items are usually wrapped in plastic for added protection. Most 2-D items ship flat in boxes or cardboard mailers. 11"x17" or larger unmatted posters ship rolled in a long box. Original paintings/drawings ship flat.
Tracking: Tracking is emailed to you when your item ships.
Shipping Damage: Should your insured item arrive damaged, contact me immediately. I will need proof (a photo or return of the item) before issuing credit or sending a new item.
Orders over $250: Orders over $250 require a signature upon receipt. You can waive the signature and have the carrier sign for you. Let me know if you want to do this.
Sales Tax: 6% sales tax for PA residents.
Shipping Schedule: I normally ship Monday thru Friday between 9-11 am EST. Sometimes I also ship on Saturdays. Orders are usually shipped within 1-3 business days of when I receive your Pay Pal payment. Certain items may take longer as noted in the item's description. As soon as the item ships, I will email you the tracking number. Should there be an unforeseen delay in shipping, I will email you.
Return of item: if you should be dissatisfied with your item, email me. You have 14 days from the receipt of the item to return it for a refund of the purchase price less shipping costs.
Orders Returned to Artist: Orders returned to me because you failed to pick them up from the carrier's depot or the carrier could not find your address, will be shipped to you after you pay the shipping costs for the second shipment. If the order had free shipping the first time, it will not be free the second time. Unclaimed orders will be held for 30 days and then the items will be returned to inventory. If the items are returned to inventory, a partial refund of the money can be given after a 15% restocking fee is taken from the purchase total.
