Welcome to my shop! I am a full-time artist obsessed with crochet, jewelry, and sculpting things out of clay, and I love things that are fantasy, goth/punk, and Renaissance inspired. I always get back to the emails I receive right away and will send a message about your order within two or three days letting you know the shipping status. If you're expecting a message from me (or if you just made a purchase) and haven't heard from me within that time frame, please check your spam folder in case it's hiding in there. Feel free to contact me if you have any questions. :) ***Shop Info:*** ***The items in my shop are NOT intended for children!*** My creations are for young-at-heart adults; for example the dolls are art dolls, not play dolls (they all have small parts), and the costume accessories (horns, ears, etc) are crafted to fit adults and contain small and/or breakable parts. Due to CPSIA regulations, please keep all items away from children under 12. By purchasing the handmade items in this shop, you acknowledge reading the policies and agree to not hold Elfling Creations responsible for any and all liability that may arise from using said items. --------------------------- As a note, no humans model the earrings- I have a lovely mannequin to do that. Everything is also from a smoke-free home. We do have a cat and dogs, however, so some hair could end up in things (especially yarn). They are not allowed to sleep in the art supplies, but this is a warning in case you are highly allergic to animals. Colors may appear different on every monitor and screen so what you see on your screen may vary slightly from the color of the actual item. ***Payment:*** I take Paypal, Amazon Payments, Google Checkout, and money orders. Payment is expected soon after a purchase (within the next day or so for the first three, and soon after for money orders). If you send a money order, the item wont be shipped until I receive it. You can pay directly with Paypal and Amazon Payments (they're hooked up to Artfire's checkout), but if you'd like to use Google Checkout, send me a message or an email (merigreenleaf@gmail.com) and I can email you a Google Checkout invoice. I always send a message to let you know that payment was received and the item is being shipped. ***For PA Residents:*** Please note that I have to charge a 6% sales tax to Pennsylvania residents (this is also on shipping; unfortunately shipping is taxed here, too, if the item is taxable). This should factor directly into your order if you're from PA. ***Shipping:*** I ship almost everything in a well-padded envelope; things that are too large, fragile or awkward for that (like my runes, horns and dolls) get shipped in a well-padded box. I reuse packaging whenever possible. US Shipping: I ship everything USPS First Class to keep the shipping cost as low as possible. I automatically insure my dolls and blankets (since those are One-of-a-Kind items), but if you would like insurance for the other items in my shop, please contact me as it will cost a bit more. Delivery confirmation (tracking) is included automatically on everything going within the US, though. For other countries I ship First-Class International; if you would like the items to be insured, please contact me as that would cost extra. ***NOTE:*** Please note that if you opt not to ask for insurance, it is at your own risk and I cannot replace the order or issue a refund if it is lost! The customer is responsible for any and all customs and duties fees. ***Expedited Shipping*** If you need an item to get to you faster, please contact me via Artfire or email (merigreenleaf@gmail.com) with your location, the item, and when you need it by and I can give you a price quote. I combine shipping, and ready-made items are shipped within 2 or 3 days of payment clearing (custom items are shipped once they are finished). **Shipping is a pain to calculate correctly even with weighing things, so if the shipping ends up costing less than you were charged by $1.00 or more, I will refund you the extra amount you paid.** ***Return policy:*** I work hard at what I do to give you the best possible product, but keep in mind that everything is handmade. I also list a detailed description of the items (measurements, materials, pictures, etc) so you know what it is you are purchasing, and I pack everything with care. If you have any questions please contact me before buying, and I can give you whatever info you need. That said, I will accept returns within two weeks of you receiving the item, but the item has to be in a never-used condition. (Also, please let me know if something is wrong ASAP.) If for some reason you are unhappy with your purchase, please contact me before you mail it back so we can discuss the transaction. I promise that I answer my emails right away. I will refund your money as soon as I receive the item back (however, I cannot refund shipping). ***There is one exception to returns: I cannot accept earrings back for sanitary reasons. I hope you understand. ***Custom orders:*** I love making custom things! If you are interested in something made custom, just send me a message and we can plan it out. Depending on the price of the item or how custom it is, I may require a deposit. Also, if you see something in my shop that is single (like an earring or bracelet) and want one as a pair, or see something as a pair and want one singular, just let me know and I can make it special for you. Cartilage Earrings: ~I can switch pierced earring posts out with clip-ons (for the earlobe) and cuffs (for the cartilage) for no additional cost. I can also change the slide-on cartilage cuffs for pierced posts. Just let me know when you check out. ~For a few more dollars, I can switch out the earring posts for Sterling Silver or 14k Gold Plated (by default I use plain metal). Contact me via Artfire or send me an email if you'd like this option. ~I can put as many posts on the earring as you have piercings. ~I can make pairs, either with the cartilage connecting chain on both (like this: http://www.artfire.com/ext/shop/product_view/409864 ), or with one earring connecting up to the cartilage and the other earring just danging from the lobe (like this: http://www.artfire.com/ext/shop/product_view/merigreenleaf/839718 ). ~I can also use a thinner, premade chain for earrings like this: http://www.artfire.com/ext/shop/product_view/4183973 Ear Cuffs: ~Many of my cartilage ear cuff dangles ( http://www.artfire.com/ext/shop/studio/merigreenleaf/0/0/199623 ) are made to fit either ear, but this means that the metal charm on them faces outwards (to the side) and not forward. I can adjust the earring so that this charm faces to the front, but the earring will only be able to be worn in one ear, not both. If you'd prefer the metal charm to face forward, let me know which ear you'd like to wear this in when you check out.
