We do not accept checks or money orders.
Please pay promptly. We send out a friendly reminder after 3 days to those that honestly thought they paid, but didn't. We are forgiving if you purchase some items in error, and we will cancel the order if requested.
> Coupons
Sometimes the coupon will not work at checkout and it is our understanding it has something to do with which browser/addons you are using. If the coupon is not working just enter the coupon in your order comments and pay. We will refund the coupon amount at the time we ship your order.
If you forget to use your coupon code, just send us a convo any time before we ship your order.

> COMBINED SHIPPING
We automatically combine orders for you if you submit more than one. Pay for all your orders and we will refund you any extra shipping charges you paid for at the time of shipment.
> U.S. AND INTERNATIONAL CUSTOMERS
We are in Canada. The shipping times are estimates NOT guarantees. Even if we shipped your order out next day, does not mean that customs will not delay your package for any reason.
> CORRECT SHIPPING ADDRESS
We are now using the Etsy shipping address as the default. If you want your package sent to an address other than your Etsy address, then please put a note in your order, or send us a convo.
IMPORTANT - It is the customer's responsibility to ensure they give us the correct address, and an address that can accept parcels. If the parcel is deemed undeliverable (through no fault of our own), then the customer is responsible for paying the shipping charges again to have it resent. If the customer chooses a refund instead, then the refund will be the full amount less shipping.
> PACKAGING:
All our packages are shipped out in new bubble envelopes (100% recycled paper/10% recycled plastic) and boxes (100% recycled content). Items are in clean separate zip lock bags (some similar items may be grouped) and delicate items like glass or porcelain beads are wrapped in extra bubble wrap. We tend to reuse bubble wrap from my suppliers, but only if it is clean. We do send out invoices, but we print them on 100% recycled paper.
> LOCAL PICK-UP
We are an internet based company only and we run The Beady Eye out of our home like many business on Etsy. We are not open to the public at this time (although we hope to have a showroom/shop of sorts in the future). Please don't ask to pick up your order.
> LOCAL DROP-OFF
Our business is in Newcastle and Heather lives in Bowmanville, so we will drop-off any package in Newcastle and Bowmanville at your request and refund you the shipping charges.

REFUNDS, RETURNS AND EXCHANGES

> IF NOT INSURED
We will not cover damages or losses. If the mistake was ours (wrong items sent or just missed), contact us and we will remedy the matter.
> IF INSURED
Damages --> If you receive your package and it looks like it has been tampered with or opened, PLEASE take pictures of the package first before you start to open it.
Losses --> We will not consider a package lost until 30 days after it has been shipped. Some packages seem to take the 'long way around' for mysterious reasons, but still show up within 30 days. After 30 days, contact us and it will be decided between the customer and us whether to re-send or refund.
> RETURNS
Will only be accepted within a month after receiving your order. Items must be returned (at your expense) unused and in the original packaging. Shipping will not be refunded. You must let us know you are returning the item(s) before you ship it.
