***PAYMENT METHODS*** Preferred method of payment is via Paypal. You may pay with a credit card through Paypal even if you do not have an account with them. Instructions will be included on how to proceed when you check out. If you are a U.S. customer who wishes to pay by credit card, but do not want to use Paypal, you may choose to use Propay for your payment. Purchases made using this form of payment will be packed to ship as soon as the payment clears, which can take 2-3 days. As of August 2012, I no longer take personal checks except from established local customers. ***SHIPPING*** U.S. SHIPPING-- I generally ship items out within 2-4 business days of receiving payment. For the shipping price indicated, I use USPS first class mail with delivery confirmation. I print out my postage through Paypal, so you should receive a confirmation email with the USPS tracking number. If you do not get that email, please contact me and I will send that information. If you wish to upgrade to a different shipping method (priority or express) please contact me for a rate quote. INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING-- I only ship international orders 2-3 times a week since it requires a trip to the post office. After your purchase I will email you with the date that your item will go out. For the shipping price indicated, I ship using USPS first class international mail. If you wish to upgrade to a different shipping method (priority or express) please contact me for a rate quote. All customs forms will be filled out accurately and truthfully--please do not ask me to mark your purchase as a gift or record a less expensive value for your item. The customer is responsible for any and all duties, customs fees and applicable taxes that may be incurred. Please do not purchase an item if it is restricted to ship to your location. ***REFUNDS AND EXCHANGES*** If you are not satified with your Tilleyjewels purchase, please contact me within 5 days of receiving your package to discuss what can be done to remedy the situation. Damaged items will be repaired or remade if possible (the original damaged item MUST be returned). Items returned for any other reason will be refunded in the form of a store credit. DO NOT return a package without contacting me first for instructions. All returned packages must have delivery confirmation to protect both the buyer and the seller. Items must be returned with the original packaging (padded jewelry box, hang tags, etc.) and in unused/unworn condition. PLEASE NOTE--Illinois Health Department regulations specifically do not allow for the return of pierced earrings that have been worn. Tilleyjewels makes every effort to accurately represent all items listed in the store. If you have questions regarding materials or sizing or colors, the best time to ask is BEFORE you make the purchase. ********ADDITIONAL POLICIES AND FAQS******** ***SIZING AND ALTERATIONS*** Please inquire about alterations to any item BEFORE purchasing to insure that the changes you desire are possible. All earring sizes listed are the TOTAL length from top to bottom of the earring, INCLUDING the post or ear wire. In most cases, I can swap out ear wires for posts, or vice versa, in the same material for no extra charge. If a piece is shown with silver plated wires, I can change them to sterling silver for a small fee. Necklaces and bracelets are properly measured on round mandrels--the size given reflects the INSIDE measurement of the piece with the clasp fastened. This may differ from the length of the necklace or bracelet when measured laid open from end to end--that measurement is not always accurate as the thickness and diameter of materials must be taken into account. If you require a piece in a different length than the size listed (either longer or shorter), please contact me and I will be happy to oblige if possible. There may be some instances where lengthening a piece is not possible if the materials are no longer available. ***INVOICES*** In order to save on paper and ink and to help keep costs down, I do not typically include an invoice or packing slip in with my shipments. If you need an invoice included in your package, please let me know. ***GIFTS*** All Tilleyjewels jewelry items come packaged in a manner that is suitable for gift giving. Gift items can be shipped directly to the recipient including a card with a personalized message from you if desired. I'm Secret Sister/Secret Pal/Secret Santa friendly--just let me know if your gift order needs to remain anonymous. ***CUSTOM ORDERS*** I will consider any custom requests and let you know if it is possible to do. Since custom requests vary so widely, completion dates and down payments will be discussed on an individual basis. ***WHOLESALE*** Wholesale inquiries are welcome.
