Product Description
This scarf is beautiful and unique! Made of authentic vintage barkcloth, it goes from funky to fancy---however you like it! And it's handmade, an original design (mine) and one of a kind!

The special feature of this scarf is the loop on the front of one side, making artful "arranging" very easy! I posted a number of photos to show examples of some of the ways you can wear the scarf.
I love how the scarf can be "tied" without getting a big knot under my chin!

This scarf measures 60 inches long with an additional 1.5" fringe on each end, and it's 7 1/2" wide.

This fabric, from the 1950's, is a nubby textured cotton. The print is in soft shades of grey and brown (trees and ground), with scattered pink flowers. There are subtle touches of gold in the print, too.

The reverse side of the scarf is a soft, lightweight fleece in a coordinating light pink. This scarf is comfortable to wear indoors, but it's nice and cozy with a coat, too!
Inspiration/Story Behind This Product
Barkcloth was used primarily for curtains in the 1930's-1950's. It's a medium weight cotton with a rough or nubby texture (thus the name.) of course, having been used for curtains, many of the fabrics are in very good condition. Like other cottons, it's machine wash and dry.

I love the unique patterns and colors in vintage barkcloth and I find lots of ways to use it!
