This size 3T girl's denim jumper gets a boutique look with vintage textiles, handpainted buttons and lace appliques. It's eco-friendly with old-fashioned charm.

The front features a beautiful floral applique design cut from vintage barkcloth. It has been thoroughly machine stitched with tiny zigzag stitches to secure it. Then I thread painted the flowers for further interest and texture.

The pocket at the top has vintage lace applied. On the corner I attached a flower cut from another vintage textile. The fabric was beige, so I hand-painted it with a watercolor effect in colors to blend with the barkcloth flowers. The paint is heat-set, so it is permanent.

I replaced all the original buttons on the dress. I hand painted the buttons on the straps in plum and gold, to match the flowers. The other buttons are beige with rose colored thread, blending nicely with the overall color scheme.

The back of the dress has another barkcloth applique, stitched and thread painted in the same manner as the one on the front.

This jumper is unique, one of a kind, and quite adorable---just like your little girl!
