Product Description
The Mancala family of games have been played in many parts of Africa, Asia and the Middle East for centuries, with the earliest confirmed archaeological findings dating to the 6th century. Many believe the game has been played far longer among the most ancient civilizations.

Mancala is known as a "sowing game" because of the way that the pieces or 'seeds' are moved from a pit and 'sown' to other pits on the board.

There are numerous variations of the game, but our board has 6 bowls on each side and one large bowl on each end. Our current stock will be made out of White Oak and measure approximately 23" long and 5.5" wide.

All of our game boards include the board, playing pieces, and instructions.

As with all of our games, these boards will not be crafted until after the orders are placed. This means that your purchase will NOT be shipped immediately.

Expected shipping times are approximately 4-6 weeks from purchase. The shipping schedule is subject to change depending on order volume, weather conditions and other factors. Please feel free to contact us for more up-to-date estimates before committing to purchase this item.

****PLEASE NOTE****

This game is not appropriate for any person who may put the playing pieces in their mouth, since they are a choking hazard. Please use common sense when purchasing gifts for others.
