Why non tarnish gold brass?
The price of gold continues to rise dramatically. In order to keep my pieces consistent and affordable for everyone, non-tarnish gold is a great alternative! It is quite different from regular gold plated wire! This wire (as indicated by its name) will not tarnish, so no polishing will ever be required. Because the wire is coated with a layer of clear enamel, it is also an excellent choice for people with metal sensitivities! I have these issues myself, and for years could not wear earrings because even sterling silver and gold would cause a reaction. I was really happy to find this wire, because no metal actually comes in contact with the skin, so I can finally wear earrings again, and rings and bracelets don't turn my skin all kinds of funky colors :)
