Purple Polymer Clay Heart Necklace with Pink and Blue Heart Beads

Product Description

This pretty purple, pink and blue polymer clay heart necklace would be perfect for Valentines Day! The three hearts at the center of the necklace measure about 1 1/2 inches wide and 1 1/2 inches tall. I made them by using purple Premo polymer clay and forming the outline of a heart. Then I filled the center of the heart with Blue liquid Kato Clay and baked them. The beads were also made by hand from Premo polymer clay. The round beads were made from blue clay and have a pink clay heart appliqued on both sides. The heart shaped beads were made by shaping slices of a pink and blue heart cane into hearts. All of the polymer clay elements in the necklace were glazed with two coats of high gloss varnish to add protection and durability. The beads have metal floral bead caps on each side. I finished the necklace off with pink, purple, and blue acrylic beads. The necklace measures about 28 inches long and has a silver lobster clasp.

Inspiration/Story Behind This Product

With Valentines Day approaching I've been making a variety of heart jewelry. I like the look of the liquid Kato Clay in the center of the purple heart frame, and enjoyed making the pink and blue heart beads.
