This versatile polymer clay pendant necklace is the unique shade of navy-gold-bronze-brown-yellow-denim that is moonlight on trees. The shimmering metallic tones of both the abstract art pendant and the glass beads will go with anything.

The 1.5 inch diameter polymer clay pendant is hand designed with swirls and spirals. The original color of the raw clay was a blackish navy blue until I applied metallic powder pigments to it before baking. It was then sealed with a thin coat of water based polyurethane for shine.

I strung my pendant on nylon coated jewelry wire with frosty denim blue glass seed beads, and round glass beads with metallic finishes. The necklace measures 18 inches at its shortest, closing with a brass lobster claw clasp. It adjusts up to 23 inches on a charmingly tarnished extension chain.
