A truly unique handmade woven bead bracelet. Kumihimo woven bead bracelet is made using the ancient Japanese technique known as Kumihimo.

I had been making Kumihimo bracelets using seed beads when I had a brain storm. What if I could find a way to add sterling silver beads to the piece as I am weaving? I sketched out my ideas, drew up a pattern and got to work. I am thrilled with the results. I hope you will be too.

I began this bracelet using size 8 Miyuki glass seed beads, I craftily added sterling silver square beads as I worked through the weaving the process. These brown beads have a dichroic quality to them, meaning they shimmer with a rainbow of colors. A lovely combination which works divinely with the three turkish sterling silver beads and end caps, and the Bali sterling silver toggle clasp.

This bracelet measures 8 and 1/4 inches in length. A size large.

Turkish Sterling silver beads (3), Turkish Sterling bead caps and Bali Sterling toggle clasp
All components are sterling silver
epoxy glue is used to secure the weaving threads (this part is under the bead cap)
