Clutch in Sky Blue Dupioni Silk with Batik Lining.

This is such a gorgeous shade of blue! Of course, I think every color of Dupioni silk is! The term Dupioni refers to the silk fibers being doubled, and when woven the result is nubby and irregular, like a shantung satin. Like all silk, it refracts the light in an amazing manner!

This clutch is in a lovely sky blue shade of silk and the lining is of cotton batik. I've inserted a zipper into the flap of the bag, providing access to a pocket that reaches all the way to the bottom of the bag.

The clutch measures 7.25 high, when closed, and 9.25 inches wide. The bag has a sewn-on metal snap for closure, and it is accented by a matching blue button.

Each of my clutches has been interfaced for body, lined for a nice clean finish, and carefully hand sewn up the sides once folded.

This clutch would be perfect for any special occasion!

I began making clutches when my girls were teenagers and I was making their prom dresses. It was only natural to use the leftover pieces of fabric for a matching accessory.
