This realistic cutie of a doll is a 17 inch Berjusa non-gender Caucasian La Newborn from the mid 80's. I believe she (well, "it" I suppose, but to me it was a she named Katie) is one of the last of this line made before the company merged, sometime in the late 80's or early 90's if I'm remembering my research correctly.

She went everywhere with me back then, so yes, the doll is used, but in very good condition aside from needing a bit of gentle cleaning. I don't want to tackle that myself; I'll leave that to an expert.

Would make a nice toy or a great project for someone who does "reborning".

Still have the original "hospital bracelet", though it is broken. Diaper and bracelet included, baby quilt is not.

Inspiration/Story Behind This Product

My favorite doll back in the mid to late 80's. Well loved, but well taken care of. Time to let go to make space for other toys, like weaving looms. :)
