Ruby Gears and Hearts features two retaining rings, 1 ½ inch and ¾ inch, wired with copper wire. A copper gears overlaid with a brass gear is riveted onto the smaller retaining ring. A copper heart charm and a faceted ruby crystal with an ornate copper bead cap hangs from the retaining rings.. Retaining rings attach to a necklace made of copper chain and faceted ruby glass beads and copper beads.

All of this is on a copper chain with gears approximately 18 inches long and closes with a clopper clasp.
