Packages have minor bumps and creases, normal wear and tear of being boxed up and moved around since the 80s.
Plastic packaging is yellowing with age but the hair accessories themselves are not affected. I do see some yellow glue spots on the backs of some of them where the barrettes and elastic were attached, but it does not affect the front pictures. We took some of each type out of the packaging (for personal use) and they are still in great condition and wearable. Items with elastic need a little caution when used because the elastic is old but still stretchy~none of ours has broken yet in the past month of use.(See images)

We discovered these in one of our favorite local thriftique stores in a big pile of stuff!

I did not list this as Mint condition because they are in older packaging which is not in absolute perfect condition with bright colors, the barrettes themselves though have never been used.

There is an old (most likely) original store sticker on the package that is from Kmart and reads $1.

While these were originally intended for children I believe they should be used for adults only who want a retro look.
