This great "Spring" like necklace has two strands and is a wire strung. This means that beads are put onto small pieces of thick metal wire and then these pieces are connected together. I use two metal ring between each section. This not only adds to the necklaces strength, it gives it a more intricate look to this one of a kind necklace. The necklace is 20 inches long, has a 3 inch extension chain with a small green bead at its end, and has a lobster style clasp.

The rest of the necklace is made with small round green jade beads, barrel shaped pink jade beads, rhombus shaped Tibetan silver beads, and extra small silver seed beads. In the center of the necklaces outer strand is an oval shaped Tibetan Silver pendant with vines and flowers in its center. The pendant is 1 1/8 inches wide and 1 1/2 inches tall. There are two types of beaded sections one has a barrel shaped pink jade in the center and has a small round green jade bead on each side. Between each of the beads and at the ends of each section is an extra small silver seed bead. The other section is the same except there is a rhombus shaped Tibetan silver bead in the center instead of the pink jade bead.

The matching earrings have a Tibetan silver metal finding with three beaded dangles hanging from it. Each of the dangles has a pink jade barrel bead on bottom with a small green jade bead on top and two extra small silver seed beads between them. The earrings are 3/4 of an inch wide and 1 2/3 inches long plus the length of the surgical steel fish hook style earring wire (about 3/4 of an inch

This necklace just makes me think of a spring day. The two colors of jade look so good together, as soon as I saw them next to each other, I knew I had to use them together. The silver flower garden pendant, along with the silver accents beads, were the perfect complement to the shades of green and pink jade.
