Profusely illustrated book - back in 1917, the resurgence of the Windsor style made this a *must have* for every designer, architect, interior decorator. This was the first guide to understanding and interpreting the uniquely American Windsor.

This 2001 reprinting of that 1917 gem identifies over 100 different types of Windsor chairs and other furniture.

Full-page photos of side chairs, armchairs, comb-backs, writing-arm chairs, babies' high-backs and low chairs, settees, love seats, stools, and tables.

The photos of the are wonderful ~ you get a clear image of the chair and the style along with a description page outlining five descriptive points ~

This book *has* been read but looks as "new" ~ All pages are here and the binding is clean and secure. I don't think this book has been opened. The paper is clean and there are no folds, tears, creases, cuts, or marks.
