Add some sparkle to your outfit with this lovely dichroic glass pendant. The dichroic glass is a modern geometric pattern that shines with an orange gold color over a black base. The color changes under different lighting conditions and it ranges from a lighter yellow gold color to a brighter copper orange color. This fused glass pendant was made by fusing three layers of glass - a bottom layer of black, then an orange gold dichroic pattern and finally a layer of clear to give it beautiful depth. An extra step was taken to polish the edges to a crisp straight line which I think gives it a dressier, more professional look than you normally see with fused glass pendants.

This handmade pendant measures approximately 13/16 x 5/8 inches. It's small size means that it won't overwhelm your outfit even with the added sparkle of the dichroic glass and it would also be a nice size for someone that is on the petite side. It comes with an 18 inch black necklace that has silver plated cord ends and clasp but I prefer to wear these with a silver chain necklace to give them a dressier look.

Your necklace will arrive packaged in a pretty gift box which makes a nice display if you are giving it as a gift or you can use it as a handy storage box when you aren't wearing it.

This fused glass pendant was made by cutting and assembling multiple layers of fusible glass and then firing them in a kiln to approximately 1500 degrees. This "fuses" the individual pieces into a single piece of glass. A diamond bit grinder is then used to smooth and shape the edges and the piece is place back into the kiln to "fire polish" the edges. Finally, a specialty two part glue is used to securely attached the glass to the pendant bail.
