A vintage illustration of Alice and the Cheshire Cat in beautiful bright colors. The illustration was drawn by Marjorie Torrey and shows Alice standing at the bottom of a large tree with the Cheshire Cat lounging on a tree limb above her. The Chesire Cat in this illustration is pictured like a friendly large gray house cat. I believe the original work must have been done in watercolor. It is from the Dandelion Library edition of Alice in Wonderland. Copyright on the book is 1955 however I believe that this copy may have been printed later. There is an inscription in the book dated May 1968, so printing was before that date.

The illustration measures 7.5" X 5.5" with borders on all sides.

The print is in very good condition with no rips, tears or creases.

This would make a lovely framed print for a little girls room or for anyone who loves Alice in Wonderland.
