Yo yo barrette featuring a penguin. My son is into penguins and as a result I have learned a lot about them. His influence is probably in the back of my mind when I look for findings for my creations. Unfortunately or fortunately he does not wear barrettes. The yo yos are made from a cotton blend fabric, one white with black dots and the other black with white dots. I used a red button to mount the penguin button and sandwiched a red grograin ribbon bow between the yo yos. The mounting is a 3 inch spring barrette that you squeeze to open and push to close. The large yo-yo is 3 1/2" around and the small yo-yo is 2 1/4".
