This 11-1/4" beautiful wood plate is handcrafted of four pieces of colorful sycamore wood. This food-safe oil finished plate could hold a variety of fruit or snacks on a table or counter. The inside radius is 10-1/4". The height of the side is 1-3/8". The inside depth is 3/4".

Inspiration/Story Behind This Product
My inspiration for making this item is that my wife wanted a holder for flimsy paper plates we use at large family gatherings or eating out of doors. So I came up with this design which she approved and I made them for her.

More Info
Sycamore is a very heavy wood and when fresh cut is brown and pink colored. When dried resembles red oak. Sycamore is known for its use in furniture as it is a hardwood.
