Victorian Lamp Shade With Antique Teal Lace From Old Dress

This Item Has Been Sold

Product Description
This Victorian Lamp Shade was made using the beautiful teal lace of an old dress, which dates to the 1930's. The color tones of this shade are so soft it belongs on a historical lamp and looks like it could have lit up a room during the late Victorian or Edwardian Eras. This shade is lined in hand dyed silk charmeuse with hand beaded crystal fringe. Inspired by the colors of the sea, this shade is a "one of a kind" artisan sewn heirloom titled "Tidepool Reflections of Edwardian Days".

This shade comes with a certificate registering it at Victorianoloogy Studio. This certificate gives a history of all the genuine antique pieces and laces used to create this heirloom. It is signed and stamped with a tiny baby button stating our dedication to foster and abused children. Victorianology donates 10% of every sale to programs that benefit foster and abused children.
Inspiration/Story Behind This Product
Inspired by the soft tones of the sea, this shade illuminates the room beautifully. It was designed after the shades that were so popular during the early 1900's and the quality of the materials in this shade give it an authentic look as if it were around during these early years.
