Hickory Wood Smoker Chunks: 553 Cubic Inches or nearly 9 liters, 100% Wood and Completely Void of Any Wood Bark. Great for BBQ and smoking brisket.

Seasoned a Minimum of 2 years in addition to Oven Drying. You are NOT paying for moisture and you are getting very nice seasoned, dry, and clean hickory wood that is void of insects and chemicals and harvested in the winter which means no sap. Weighs approximately 10 pounds.

Also, you do not have a big chunk of wood that you have to split so you can begin smoking or preparing your barbeque. The work has been done for you and this smoker wood is ready to use! The way this wood has been split also optimizes seasoning and drying.

You will receive about 40 sticks of wood approximately (all references are approximate) in a medium flat rate box and the box will be packed to capacity.

Each wood piece measures 7 1/2 to 8 1/2 in length and 1 1/2 x 1. This fills a USPS Medium Flat Rate Box that measures 11 long, 8 3/4 wide, and 5 3/4 high. It is the most inexpensive shipping method and purchasing volume like this vs. small wood chip bags provides a very economical purchase of smoker wood. It saves you money and provides really nice smoking pieces that are substantial wood pieces and last a lot longer.

For the best and the longest lasting smoke, wrap individual pieces of wood in aluminum foil with the ends open a little. Place around your charcoal or gas fire and watch it go to work. Ashes remain contained in the aluminum foil for easy clean up on gas grills. This method approximates 20 cookouts from the one box.

This Hickory Wood is seasoned well and will provide plenty of heat for great outdoor cooking for several smoked meals for the Spring, Summer, and Fall.
